As my husband and I were preparing to go to the final memorial service for my father yesterday morning my husbands pager (volunteer Firefighter / EMT) goes off at 6:57 am for an address that we recognize as a very loved family friend. Being the man he is my husband, Rob Graves, races down there and immedately starts CPR after 30 min they were able to get her heart beating again.. He remained in the ambulance with her to the hospital by her side. When my husband came home and we proceeded to get ready for the service we find out that she is in critical condition. The phone call came in last night that at 10:27 pm that Gale did not make it. My heart goes out the family, Starla Dean Manley. Your mother was a very important part of my life for over 20 years. Even though we did not see each other as much as we should have for the past 5 years we always remained in contact.
