As my official referee season has concluded.. I was honoured to have games this weekend. Being able to represent everyone around me and what I believe and stand for. It has been a humbling expirience. Despite not showing at official trainings, instead I trained myself. Having only half a season to get back to where I left off last season. Im honoured to have started where I left off and went up a division small step but big in the context of my season. Hacing only half a season I had difficulty trying to find a season goal.. however I decided as selfish as it sounds to equal or better last years grandfinal and take someone elses place. That I feel was a success. The goal wasnt to be selfish but to prove to myself that I can acheive anything I set my heart to. To my fellow referees, thank you for the ongoing support and encouragement throughout my season and comforted me in my time in need. Ken Kamp, Chris, and others. To name a few, and others I dont have.. but you all know who you are. To my coaches thankyou for the guidance in what I needed to work on to have made me reach and perform with little to no fault last week and today. This isnt just my achievement but yours aswell. Sharlayne Adams and other coaches. But I wouldnt be here without a good foundation. Thank to you Scott Harvey. And to my favourite, you know who you are. yes its only been a short time but your support and encouragement means the world. All I can say is thank you, as our general season is over.
