As my sin is exposed I am not left to despair; I am not left to pull myself up by my own bootstraps; I find my all sufficiency in Jesus Christ--thats the way to live the Christian life. The way to live the Christian life is to discover increasingly that you are this wretched man or woman (Rom. 7:24), because, you see, it is this wretched man or woman alone who discovers how glorious Jesus Christ is.
