Three pro-assimilation voices (Clyde, McGregor, Akina, Stroud) and one pro-independence voice (Osorio) is not objective reporting. The article ends with a statement from Stroud: I think a lot of folks view federal recognition as giving up, he said. I view it as protecting rights that are already in place. IT IS GIVING UP. What exactly are those rights that are already in place? How exactly are those rights... already in place being negatively affected if theyre already in place? Its common sense. How does FREEDOM from an oppressive system (fake state/U.S.) negatively affect your rights? If anything, common sense tells you FREEDOM gives you MORE RIGHTS. Oh right... Stroud doesnt mean rights. Stroud is actually talking about benefits. He and people of like mind, dont want to lose out on all the benefits currently in place. Not rights, benefits. Did the reporter ever ask for clarification on his statement? Not at all. Coupled with terrible reporting, news agencies here arent concerned with getting to the crux of the matter. So what it really comes down to is that WE ARE BEING SOLD OUT SO THAT A VERY FEW CAN KEEP THEIR BENEFITS. Our freedom; the freedom of our children, grandchildren, and so on and so forth until the end of time is being destroyed on account of a handful of selfish individuals. Us Hawaiian patriots need to keep that in mind.
