As of 1:31am CDT radar in VCP 21 (Standard Precipitation Mode) - TopicsExpress

As of 1:31am CDT radar in VCP 21 (Standard Precipitation Mode) continued to indicate showers and a few thunderstorms in “banded formation” in Northeastern, North Central Oklahoma, part of Eastern and Southeastern Kansas, and Southwestern Missouri from the KINX (Tulsa Radar) site. This was associated with an upper-level low pressure system, and elevated fast-moving upper-winds. This is expected to continue through Tomorrow. Occasional heavy rainfall is possible overnight through early morning. No severe weather tonight, if there is any chance of severe weather it will be during the late afternoon today between 3 PM and 7 PM CDT. Hail and straight line winds are the primary concerns. Seeing no significant activity I’m going to lay down for the night. Radar is active so if anything does get going I’ll be alerted and can take command of the terminal quickly. Goodnight all. Last radar image attached to this post. It’s 75°F here in Miami now… We’ve seen some light rainfall and it has cooled the air down and spurred on some activity with fireflies, honeysuckle, jasmine, and several other pants. I’ve got my window open and don’t care if it rains in… LOL… It’s so nice out there… Certainly thinking of someone special right now to enjoy it with. Praying for all victimized in the Zimmermon case. God will stretch forth His hand and give grace, comfort, and love to those who have been without justice in this case. There will be judgment on the day when it comes. Brian R Cross.
