We received the following update from sprint car driver Jamie Collards wife, Leslie, and ESS officials: Jamie and I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He has 2 broken vertebrae, broken ribs, bruised esophagus and more tests will need to be done to determine if there is any damage to his aorta. We really appreciate all the messages from everyone and are looking forward to a speedy recovery. We would also like to send thoughts and prayers to the other driver injured. Jamie has also been texting ESS officials and is in good spirits!
