As of 6pm, Dec.6, 2014, a total of 80 out of 100 brgys in the province affected by typhoon Ruby with a total of more than 10,000 families or 31,322 individuals in 7,532 evacuation centers. The Incident Management Team (IMT) of PDRRMC Dinagat Islands had taken response activities including the continuous monitoring of the weather, camp coordination & management, activated health emergency management staff, & conducted monitoring to the local counterparts in the distribution of relief goods. Furthermore, a total of 86 persons w/ special needs were also recorded from the different evacuation centers & these include persons w/ disabilities, pregnant women & lactating mothers. As to infrastructure, there were already 6 partially damaged houses & 6 damaged pumpboats caused by strong winds & hightides. (w/ reports from PIO Jane Mayola)
