As of Monday, August 26th, the "Writings From Heavin" page will be shut down in order that I can concentrate on pastoral responsibilities. Anything I write or post concerning those topics will be on my new page, "Oasis Pastoral Care." For the next couple of weeks I will be focusing on what it means to listen to God, to pay attention to His Voice, or in the words of the Hebrew writer, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." I believe you will find a parallel message between the Parable of the Sower in Luke 8 and Paying attention to His voice and word in Hebrews chapters 3 & 4....."Today if you hear His voice....." (Hebrews 3:7ff)......."Today if you hear His voice..."(Hebrews 3:15ff)....."Today if you hear His voice....." (Hebrews 4:7ff)......"For the word of God is alive and active....." (Hebrews 4:12-13).
