As of Sunday, I will be off Facebook for a few days to concentrate on other Business Networking via social media of another type and old fashioned person to person, personal notes, showings which hopefully will turn into sellings and two new listings upcoming. Its my Shabbat, and as I reflect upon the past week, I gotta tell you, this has been an amazing week. Business is good. Solid. But thats just because, as most of you know, I work hard. The Rousing Rendition of Avenu Shalom Alechem, turned into Carol and I dancing in the kitchen, and singing as loud as we could, with our arms raised, because my old friend Debbie Denenberg, saw it fit to post the prayer( thats really what it is ) in the thread. We sang and danced because we still can sing and dance together.....no other reason. Just because we could. A breakfast with a newer friend turned into a half hour laugh fest over the pros and cons of chemotherapy, flashing foreheads, and a couple real good leads.......... But the best thing of all was that I was able to, for some unknown reason, go back in time 32 years ago and rekindle an old friendship from the military. It boggles my mind how Dave found me after so long, or that he even remembered me. Even then, I was a geek, like now. It was pure happenstance, I think. Im just happy that I took my managers advice and updated my Trulia profile. Thanks Brenda. So as I sit here watching my beautiful best friend sleep, Im thinking that my fingers arent typing well, my back is again stiff as all hell, Oscar snores louder than Eva, and my house is warm. And, Im the luckiest person I know. And maybe the happiest too. Just dont forget to laugh and sing happy enough to chase away your inner fears......if only for awhile. Heres to your great health.
