As of now Macailey is fever free & a much happier baby. Unfortunately she has now broken out in a rash that is covering her whole body, which luckily does not seem to bother her. She had her follow up docs appt today to ensure that the high rising fever she had caused no long term damage to her immune system & internal organs. And after narrowing down H1N1, Scarlett Fever and Periodic Fever Syndrome, the docs are confident that this was a nasty virus or a possible case of Roseola & the rash should fade within a few days. We will continue to monitor her progress for the next week or so & make sure she is continueing to recover back to her butterball self.
