As of this evening 8/16/2013 Containment 50% Significant Events: Idaho Governor Butch Otter visited the Complex today. Residents of Fall Creek and Lester Creek were temporarily allowed into the area this morning. Power was restored from Lester Creek up to the Senior Center in Pine and down to the ICP. A hand line was completed in the northwest portion of the fire up to the Trinity 2012 fire scar. Burnout operations were initiated in that northwest perimeter. A small spot fire occurred near Pine. Some resources were released to assist with the nearby Beaver Complex. Planned Actions: Continue burnout operations on the northwest flank using a plastic sphere dispenser from a helicopter and hand crews. Continue mop-up in all other Divisions. Rehab will continue in areas where possible. Provide IA coverage for areas contained within the TFR. Continue developing a re-entry plan for residents of the Pine and Featherville corridor and restore power to the area.
