As of today I am - officially - no longer a student at SAIT. My withdrawal has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of my education, the campus, the instructors or the students. My decision is entirely motivated by an opportunity to pursue an education that I can only attain elsewhere. I cannot imagine a better way that I might have spent my past two years. At the UofC I was an aimless student like so many others, but at SAIT I found purpose. Last year I was incredibly privileged to endure - and I would hazard, overcome - a crucible of challenges both personal, academic, and social. As I move on I do so with utter confidence in my capacity to put in the time and effort to succeed. One of my greatest regrets will undoubtedly be that I will likely never be a SAIT alumnus - at least in the sense that I never did get that piece of paper. Ill miss all my SAIT peeps. What a ride.
