As of today, Sweden has a new Secretary of State/ Prime Minister, Stefan Löfven, a Social Democrat, who now leads a Minority Cabinet together with the Green Party. A few words from his declaration to the Swedish Parliament: Sweden needs to be a democratic and equal country, where the profit thinking needs to submit to more humane values. We need to secure the quality of education in our country; smaller classes, higher salaries to teachers, state-guaranteed help with homework to all pupils, regardless of their economic status. The free school system is guaranteed (both state and free schools) but the extreme profit-thinking must go. Our Cabinet is a feministic one. All companies on our Stock Market need to have a plan how to have more women in their boards. If not, we´ll enforce a quota-system in 2016. Women´s wages need to be equal with the men´s. Sweden needs, besides economic growth, also cultural growth. All state museums will be free of charge.
