As of today, please note that due to a VVIP visit from the 26th - 28th April 14, security aspect around the following perimeter will be very tight. Roads surrounding RCKL, JWM, Starhill, Westin, Keck Seng and Dorsett will blocked by the police and protocol personnel. Certain walk-way, side-roads and short-cuts may be sealed-off. I would recommend that all tenants and employees to come early to work or use public transport for these 3-days. Large lorries and trucks may not be able to access these roads. Kindly notify all F&B outlets to plan well ahead with their suppliers, and to order sufficient food items. This include RCKL, JWM, Starhill / Feast Village, Westin and Dorsett. 1) Jalan Imbi (Only one lane will be open for traffic movement on scheduled times by the police - nearest to the construction site, and pedestrian traffic will be sealed-off during movement of motorcade) 2) Entire road of Jalan Yap Tai Chi and back road of CCC Loading Bay /back area of Bintang Palace (Permanently road closure and pedestrian traffic will be sealed-off during movement of motorcade) 3) Jalan Gading, Jalan Palmer (beside Carlton Gourmet / entrance to Starhill Car Park Entrance) and the turning from Westin downwards to JWM Car Park Entrance / Loading Bay will be closed for a short while during movement of motorcade 4) Contracted hotel taxis for JWM, RCKL and Dorsett would not be allowed to park along Jalan Yap Tai Chi and Jalan Palmer. Also very high possibility that garbage trucks may not be permitted to enter JWM / Starhill Loading Bay and Westin too. The RCKL basement car park will not be utilized and all jockey parked, self-parking and employees parking will be at JWM or Starhill only. Police Check-Point and vehicle inspection locations will be as follow, and there will be a Loss Prevention / Security Personnel stationed to each Check-Point to usher guests, customers, tenants, employees, motorists and motorcyclists, except for the main road of Jalan Imbi and Jalan Gading. 1) The turning from Westin downwards (Before QBA) 2) Junction between Jalan Yap Tai Chi and side of Carlton Gourmet (CitiCab Waiting Area) 3) Entrance into Jalan Palmer (Road turning from front of YTL College into Starhill car park) 4) Junction of Jalan Gading (Traffic Light) 5) Jalan Imbi (Before Dorsett) Placement of walk-through scanners and metal detectors are compulsory, including body search, if necessary, will be conducted for everyone (guests, customers and employees) by the police and protocol personnel at certain entry points, including the CCC Link Bridge, but excluding the shopping gallery. Access and Entry to desire locations of the Hotel and Residences will be denied if failure to comply to procedure. Kindly note that the police and protocol personnel reserves the right for any last minute and without prior notification given, to amend or change the above road closure timing and areas, security check-point locations, access of vehicle types and placement of scanners.
