As of today, this is how I would rank the Eastern Conference. 1. Cleveland 2. Chicago 3. Washington 4. Charlotte 5. Indiana 6. Miami 7. Toronto 8. Atlanta 9. New York 10. Brooklyn 11. Detroit 12. Boston 13. Milwaukee 14. Orlando 15. Philadelphia The best team in the east is a toss-up between Cleveland and Chicago, you really cant go wrong either way. Washington, Charlotte, Miami, Indiana and Toronto are in that next tier. I think Washington and Charlotte are the best teams out of that group, though. Im really high on Charlotte this year. I love what theyve done this summer. Atlanta, New York, Brooklyn and Detroit will fight for the 8 seed. Really, its probably gonna come down to Atlanta or New York. Ive got Atlanta there because they were the 3rd best team in the East last year until Horford got hurt. If he can stay healthy, Atlanta has a great shot at making the playoffs.
