As of tomorrow it will be one month since Ive ingested any form of THC. This is the longest time in over 5 years and I chose to do it completely of my own volition. That being said it may have been one of the most self destructive, masochistic things I have ever done!! I thought that I might have more energy, a clearer mind, a greater ability to retain information, but the only apparent result is sleep deprivation and an increasingly short fuse. This in turn has affected my relationships with people, my efficiency and passion for my work, and my overal contentment (however fleeting it may be). Not to say I didnt learn something from this experience, when Im high non-stop all day long, it seems to cheapen the experience. I think from now on I will use marijuana only in productive ways that doesnt take away from my ability to connect with the world and people around me, but to rejuvenate myself and take time to appreciate the many wonderful things this life has to offer us. Glad to say I gave it a try but I think I have punished myself enough, time for a reunion with my sweet Mary Jane ;]
