As one can see, those who live in the rural parts of the nation and more concentrated in the eastern half are more hateful, bigoted and racists. What this tells me is that the Republicans who control red states knowing this long before these students created this map have gerrymandered the Congressional and state districts so that the voters in the more tolerant urban cities are broken up into district dominated by these hateful rural areas. This has reduced the ability of Democrats or progressives to win seats, even if the collective votes of the cities were counted together, they would hold a seat, but since they are broken up into conservative districts, the voters in the cities are neutralized. We, those who lean left, no longer have fair representation in Congress and/or in our state legislatures and governors. This is one reason why the Republicans are so blatant and overt about their racism and hatred. They know that the hateful racists country folks will vote them back into office. Never fear, they love to hate.
