As one of the administrators of the group, Ive deleted several posts that seemed to be offensive to many. Ive also deleted a member of the group who appeared to delight in rudeness. This group really isnt about advertising your beefs with your past in Lee County anymore than its about advertising things that you have to sell. I think we can all agree that its to promote good feelings about the place where we grew up and to, hopefully, help our county regain some of what it has lost over the years. Joe Catoe started this group and if he disagrees with me, Ill apologize to any who might be offended by this post. Thanks to all who have used the group to reconnect and make positive comments. I love our little corner of the world...I hope to live there again one day and it hurts to see people trash it (physically or verbally).
