As only a few people know, yesterday was my last day at my previous job working at the Chapel of the Flowers. It was a hard decision to leave but the choice was not made because I was unhappy, it was made because an opportunity came that I could not pass up. Today I officially started my new job for an International Association as their first/new Social Media & Marketing Director. I can not express how excited and humble I am to have reached such a high title in less than 8 months of graduating with my degree. I had no idea that it would only take this short amount of time to reach a goal I set out long ago to be in a position such as this...Because I have worked so hard and done everything I can to make it here, I have no shame to say exactly how amazing my first day was at work. Within minutes of walking in the door, the President and CEO of the company walked me over to MY NEW OFFICE, looked me in the eyes and said, guess we will have to fill this quick. In less than two hours we purchased all new software (Photoshop, adobe, office), a new laptop for my personal use at work, an all oak wood desk, my own phone line, opened an expense account for me, gave me keys to the entire place, my own parking spot, stocked my desk with all the supplies I will need and to top it off bought me lunch and finished it off so what do you think so far.....My response was speechless...Day 1 is coming to an end and I cant wait for whats to come. #blessed #0to100
