As our intention begins to manifest, even now, Sacred Center has and is becoming a spiritual and educational community where people can explore themselves and more conscious ways of engaging life; attend workshops on spiritual principles and universal laws; learn about the peace teachings of the world’s religions; participate in physical and energetic work such as Reiki, yoga, reflexology and Tai Chi; attend classes offered by renowned teachers that educate the mind and uplift the soul on topics such as spirituality, sustainable living, healthy food choices, and meditation techniques; and participate in social activism that empowers us to both encourage others, and live ourselves, as a beneficial presence on the planet. As we move from a consumption mentality to a contribution mentality, abundance begins to flow to us in ways we can hardly begin to describe. The concept of Sacred Center has been forming in Mind since 2007 as an embodiment of Dr. Martin Luther’s King’s philosophy of a Beloved Community, as I was completing peace ministry seminary studies. As the concept has evolved, the name, “Sacred Center” began to emerge, although it yet remained undefined. As a result of this intention, amazing collaborations with organizations such as Unity, Centers for Spiritual Living, the Miami Friends Society, the Non-Violence Project USA, the Be the Change organization, as well as many others, have and will continue to happen.
