As part of Africa Immersion Day, the children at One World Montessori were treated to a demonstration of African Drums. They heard a traditional African story about a little girl named Aia, which incorporated music, dancing, and singing to create a suspenseful, captivating atmosphere. The children and teachers were invited to join in the storytelling, by dancing and singing to assist the people in the village to find little Aia, who was lost in the forest.
