As part of Annual Road Safety Week – 2015 celebrations, Delhi Traffic Police organized a workshop for DTC Bus Drivers and Commercial Vehicle Drivers at IDTR Loni, to sensitize them about the road safety rules and Supreme Court guidelines. Senior officers from Delhi Traffic Police also sensitize them about the behavior of drivers with public persons. Delhi Traffic police also organize pedestrian safety drive. Joint C.P. Traffic Sh. Anil Shukla and Addl. C.P. Sh. Sharad Agarwal launched a Zebra at India Gate. Sh. Anil Shukla stressed on the importance of safe crossover such as foot-over bridge, Sub-way and Zebra crossing for the safety of pedestrian. A volunteer in zebra costume sensitized the pedestrians about the importance of using Zebra crossing for insuring their own safety and distributed literatures. Many of the volunteers held placards having Road Safety Messages about pedestrian safety on various prominent intersections.
