As part of Black history Month and the Into Film Festival the film premiere of Gone too far will be shown on October 15th 10am-1pm in the main hall. The Into Film Festival is an exciting and unique event for young people, taking place around the UK this November. The Festival hopes to inspire young people to watch, make and understand film in new and creative ways, as well as helping to build a lifelong passion for film. . Taking part in the festival may be just the first step on a young person’s journey into film and we are here to support teachers and students along the way. Following on from Black History Month in October, into film present a collection of films that highlight key moments, people and issues significant to Black History across the years. From recent releases to a rediscovered gem from the archive, these films explore a variety of subjects and narratives that promote knowledge and understanding of Black History, culture and heritage.
