As part of a 3-team trade on January 20, 1965, the Chicago White Sox sent Camilo Carreon to the Cleveland Indians. The White Sox then sent a player to be named later, Mike Hershberger and Jim Landis to the Kansas City Athletics. The Indians sent Tommie Agee, Tommy John and John Romano to the White Sox. The Athletics sent Rocky Colavito to the Indians (where he had started his career). But wait, theres more...the White Sox sent Fred Talbot (February 10, 1965) to Kansas City to complete the trade. In a deal this size, its difficult to say who got the best end of the deal, however, Colavitos return to Cleveland was met with open arms. He played in every game during his first season back, batted .287, and to top that off, he led the American League in RBI with 108 and walks with 93.
