As part of a recent French topic on food and drink pupils in Year 2 visited ‘La Crêperie de Madame Rodenhurst’ located on the second floor of Bellan House. Madame Rodenhurst (‘le chef’) was helped by two very capable ‘serveurs’ (Katy and Harry) to provide a scrumptious array of delights. The children enjoyed practising newly learned vocabulary as they ordered drinks such as ‘le coca’, ‘la limonade’ et ‘le jus d’orange’ and ‘crêpes au chocolat, chantilly et citron avec du sucre. A fun French lesson was had by all!
