As part of my effort of doing a better job of expressing my appreciation or admiration of people who inspire or make a difference in my life... In everyones life, there should be at least one person that makes it possible to do something that they never thought possible. Marie Kovalchick Scott falls into that category for me. Even though I had done some writing in my professional life, I always thought a book was far beyond anything Id ever be able to accomplish. Marie completely destroyed that limitation in my mind. When the opportunity came up to write a book on IBM Sametime, she corralled me into the process and was the main driver to make it happen. And while it was not easy, I found that Marie and I quickly settled into a pattern that made it far easier than I ever expected. The results exceeded anything I ever expected, and we were still talking when it was done. Even better, we did it a *second* time with the same results. :) Beyond that, shes been a great friend over the years, and I appreciate that shes been a part of my life. Thanks, Marie.
