As part of our art curriculum, the kids and I have been taking time each week to follow the photographic conversation, Six Shooters. We came to the conversation late, so weve been able to spend hour at a time, looking at several images and discussing how they relate, what the kids feel the photographer was saying, as well as the composition, viewpoint, mood, etc. Thank you, Cat Gwynn, Noelle Swan Gilbert, Aline Smithson, Bootsy Holler, Nancy Baron, & Eleonora Ronconi for sharing your individual voices, for the inspiration, but most importantly for time well spent with my kids. They come to me now asking to see more of the conversation and it is interesting how they each feel and see something different in each image. I encourage everyone to treat yourself to their images.
