As part of the Learning Eating Active Play and Sleep (LEAPS) - TopicsExpress

As part of the Learning Eating Active Play and Sleep (LEAPS) project for early childhood education funded by Queensland Health, there is funding available to support three full-time Research Masters Scholarships on related topics. The two areas of research interest are listed below. 1. Training design and delivery processes to promote and sustain quality practice in relation to healthy eating and physical activity in prior to school early childhood education and care (ECEC) settings (2 scholarships) 2. Healthy lifestyle capacity building during the early years – with a focus on educators working in partnership with families (1 scholarship) The LEAPS team are seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates with a background in ECEC or general education in addition to interest and/or experience in health promotion. The School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences and the School of Early Childhood are collaborating on this project and students could be based in either school.
