As part of the North Wales Pilgrims Way project in Conwy, we are just finishing the poetry epic that will be installed in St Sannans Church, Llansannan. Visitors will be able to go to an interpretation area designated in the church, press a button to select Welsh or English), and then theyll hear various poems written by local poets from Tudur Aled up to modern day. Graphics have been designed to go with the poetry, and theyll be projected from the ceiling of the church, onto the floor. Its a very unusual installation and it will be a permanent feature of the North Wales Pilgrims Way in Conwy. It also helps generate visitor numbers in the churches to find out more about their history, and hopefully add to the sustainability of these beautiful medieval buildings, through visitor donations.
