As part of the Santa Rosa Cycling Club Pope Valley 200K this Saturday Im riding 125 miles from Santa Rosa to Pope Valley then back from Pope Valley to Santa Rosa Sunday. Im not sure if the route back will be 125 miles or 35. Its kind of straight shot over some hills to get back to Santa Rosa and that might sound good Sunday morning. So far only six people are signed up: Lisa-Susan McPhate, Chris Mas Mariano, Barry Schwartz, Jim Poppy, Hunt Moore and me. Well be chasing the 600K folks but stopping 400K before they do. Among that group who get an hour head start on us are FB friends Andrea Symons, Clyde Butt, Michael Burke, Tina Forsman, and Paul Vlasveld.
