As part of the curriculum of Urban Tourism under the University of Sunderland Bachelor of Science (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality programme, our students visited Bangkok, Thailand from 4-7 December 2014 to conduct their independent research on the characteristics of tourists and to critically debate the management and marketing features that are distinct to the Bangkok city. Not only did our students effectively demonstrate their skills of analysis, evaluation and application in dealing with concepts and data in the fields of urban tourism, they also presented their research results in a professional and creative way!
