As per initiative of my friend William Bounds, I am going to take (in his words) a Missionary Rule Fast. He compares this with the rules he was required to follow on his mission, and I love the idea-- A sort of reset. I am, of course, altering it a tad to suit my own personal needs, but there are a few parallels. I am going to only listen to lower vibration music- like classical- to increase my sensitivity from the numbness of harsh music. I am going to read my spiritual books only- Byron Katie and Anne Rices Vampire chronicles. I am not going to watch any shows or movies ( with the minor exception of after 8PM with Nic, and not by myself). I am only allowed to be on the computer for art or business related topics. My only internet browsing will be for references to draw from. This means no random stumbling or pinterest, no social media. There is one exception for Facebook, and that is the Japanese study group I have going. I will be on Facebook once a week on Fridays for the study sessions!! I will be walking everyday.
