As per law its allowed to contest from 2 seats. but if candidate wins from both seats, one has to be vacated within 10 days and by-election needs to be arranged. There is no logic in this provision. In my opinion, election commission should ask for amendment of this law that in case of vacating one of the seats, the winner candidate will pay for the entire cost of conducting by-election on that seat. Why publics money wasted on this. I appeal AAP to not field any candidate from 2 seats. If AAP comes to power, change this rule as this rule does not serve any useful purpose.
