As picky of a person as I am, I tend to switch from artist to artist in my search to find more amazing music. Every now and then a few stand out to me above the rest, but none more so then Pete Philly. He has been my favorite MC for 5 years now, and with very good reason. This man is one of the most understanding and down to Earth human beings I have ever been blessed to have a conversation with and his music has helped me through more times then I can count (many really dont understand musics effect on me). I found his music during a big transition point in my life and I have to credit his amazing lyrics and wonderful approach toward his fans and his craft for helping to make me a better person. I try to promote his music and messages as much as I can, because he is really one of the worlds most underrated MCs. You wont ever hear him complain about it, but Pete Philly should be rocking the Worlds largest stages with the best of them, but hes one of those artist that never lets fame get in the way of his message, so it is the Underground that he calls home.
