As promised, here is the latest update: My surgeon called me a little while ago and told me that my case is taking top priority. He is waiting for one of his colleagues to return from being out the country, and as soon as he is back, Dr. Hurt, Dr. Sannalah and their colleague will sit down and come up with the best course of action. Dr. Hurt still feels uncomfortable with open heart surgery, but said that the blood clot has to come out. He said that if open heart is the only way to do it then that is what they will do with the help of lasers so they can see where they cut in Feb. I should know something by weeks end. So as soon as I know, I will let everyone know.
