As promised, if at least $100 in pledges were raised, Michael - TopicsExpress

As promised, if at least $100 in pledges were raised, Michael Britt would do the #ALSicebucketchallenge tonight. Thanks Glondy Peña for the nomination. Thanks brothers for helping me raise $400 (!) today for and the multiple family members of Chi Psi we know affected by ALS and MS. Your families are my family. Tonight $400 will be donated ---- $200 to the ALS foundation and $200 to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society --- to help bring awareness, advocacy, and hopefully a cure for these diseases. Since the start of the Ice Bucket Challenge in Boston, the ALS Association of Massachusetts has raised $1.35 million for ALS research and awareness nationally from July 20 to Aug. 11. Compared to las year, during the same period in 2013, just more than $22,000 was raised. In Massachusetts, $201,563 was raised this year, compared to $20,977 last year. Lets keep it up! Time to challenge some Cal-Berkeley boys! Scott Staskus, Nate Cash, Cooper Krings, Simon Chen, & Nathan Hall you have 24 hours to take the ice bucket challenge or donate $100 to the ALS Foundation at ALSA.org #XY #DeltaDelta #StrikeoutALS Sam Bessey, you have 12 hours. GO!
