As rightly pointed out, Meera Panigrahi Ji, a time has come when we need to engage seriously at all levels of existence the necessity to put faith and intuitive understanding to test. Unfortunately we have related to religion all along as something completely esoteric and not directly related to everyday living, except the mechanical rituals which we practice, if at all, with no sense of connectivity to higher domains of knowledge & understanding. When the tenets of religion are organically hemmed into practical everyday living along with some of the significant rituals without the pride of my religion or the prejudice of other religion, the tenets may soak into the body organism for it to identify the wholeness of existence at the level of its core. Religion when practiced as the reality of existence that it is, violence and the associated vices will have no space to enter and what we refer to as virtues would become commonplace. This is certainly not utopian but a real possibility if thinking minds the world over come together to establish this mode of living as the most natural, the way it ought to have been.
