As sad as I am to be writing this I think its time to sell my adored DC2. I think ive done about 80 miles in it since last August and now feel it should be out and about giving someone else a smile from ear to ear. build thread: itr-dc2/forum/viewtopic.php?t=96169 Location : Horncastle (near cadwell race circuit), Lincolnshire Price: £5000 ono Specifics: Tax: 6 months will be provided upon sale if asking price is given or very close to MOT: Just had a brand new ticket and had no advisories, expires 13/03/2015, emmissions certificate also provided with the details as follows: CO (%) 0.18 - the limit for carbon monoxide is 0.2 HC (ppm) 105 - the limit for hydrocarbons is 200 parts per million Lambda 1.001 - the lower and upper limits are 0.97 and 1.03 Current Mileage: 111,527 miles current list of Mods: meister R zeta R coilovers Rota slipstream 15s in black with yokohama AO48 tyres all round (near enough identical to the toyo 888s just a slightly better compound, hence longer lasting) carbon fibre bonnet moroso sump genuine mugen twinloop cat back exhaust system 98 spec JDM tubular manifold with heatwrap JDM cat carbon fibre plug cover spoon drop in filter magnecor HT leads Roose motorsport triple layer red cooling and ancillary associated hoses NRG engine damper ferrodo DS2500 front brake pads stereo aerial is on a hidden switch so you can put it down when listening to CD/AUX etc HID headlight kit (7k i think) TRS tow strap Air con removed Toad A606i alarm system bit more info: this car has always been garaged overnight since I have owned it and when I first bought the car I had the rust chopped out of the drivers side rear arch and both sides shot blasted and re-painted ( as can be seen on page 1 of my build thread). I have done oil changes my self using motul 8100 X-cess oil in the engine every 2500 - 3000 miles. this was a bit over the top but for the sake of a few pounds Id rather have kept my engine pulling strong. the gearbox oil was also changed not too many miles ago using honda MTF oil. The clutch has just been replaced as it decided to break into 3 bits on a trackday. The car has been on track twice but the engine is always warmed up up and cooled down before and after each use, track or road. The car pulls very well with no smoke at all (as proved by the emmissions test) and there are no cruches in any gear. Bad points: there are a few little scuffs on the plastics of the car. front splitter wing mirrors and rear bumper. the drivers side recaro has a tiny rip and the bolsters are a bit worn the rear bench has a tiny rip and could do with a shampoo a few bits of plastic trim have scatches in the boot there is the slightest bit of surface rust re appears on the rear arches on the lip where the black trim bits go small tear in driver side car mat Pictures: Dont think ive missed anything. If you want a test drive you will have to provide proof of been covered else its a passenger seat ride only im afraid. Any questions feel free to ask. thanks shaun
