As-salamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarkatahu. MIQAT KA BAYAN/The Miqat>>>>> Miqat us jagah ko kehte hain jahan se Hajj karne wala Ihram bandhta hai. Mīqāt are the stations at which pilgrims on the Hajj, put on ihrām, the pilgrims garment. Ibn Abbas Radhiallahu Anhu se riwayat hai, unhone kaha ki Nabi Sallallahu Alaihe Wa-sallam ne Madina walo ke liye Dhul-Hulaifa ko Miqat banaya. Sham walo ke liye Al-Juhfa, ahle Najd ke liye Qarn-al-Manazil aur Yemen walo ke liye Yalamlam ko Miqat tay farmaya, un Maqamat ke rehne walo ke liye bhi jo Hajj aur Umrah ka irada karte huye wahan se guzre aur jo log in jagaho ke andar ki taraf hain, woh jahan se chale, wahin se Ihram bandhe, chunanche Makkah wale Makkah hi se ihram bandhe. Narrated Ibn Abbas Radhiallahu Anhu: The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihe Wa-sallam fixed Dhul-Hulaifa as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madina, Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham, Qarn-al-Manazil for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. And these Mawaqit are for those living at those very places, and besides them, for all those who come through them with the intention of performing Hajj and Umra; and whoever is living within these Mawaqit should assume Ihram from where he starts, and the people of Makkah can assume Ihram (for Hajj only) from Makkah.
