As senior, aged citizens couldnt feel states presence, theyve nowadays been complaining through symbolic mourning. Theyve been asserting that theyll die burning themselves. Is it good to insult them; to make them unhappy, upset??? Their demands too arent that large, impossible as they comprise (1) recognition as senior citizens after one is 60; (2) free treatment; (3) 50% concession in bus-fare; and (4) Rs 3,000 per month allowance. Government raises vehicle, business etc taxes. Cant the state fulfil their demands??? What kind of state is this which doesnt listen to them whove that long been picketing in capitals prime site??? At worst, supporter youths too can burn themselves. Old age use to be complicated, painful. They all are parents to me.
