As so many of my FB friends have shared the minutiae of their days, I thought I’d share mine: I was awakened by Antonio Banderas whispering something extremely personal in my ear. There followed a romantic interlude. Room service then brought us breakfast prepared by Alain du Casse, which we enjoyed on our terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. Then another romantic interlude. A drive along the corniche roads in a Corniche, followed by naked waterskiing and a romantic interlude on the beach. Lunch with Jean-Luc Godard. Then the inspection of several coastal villas in the hope of finding one to make our own. Finding one. Making it our own. Calling Tim Corrigan to tell him to drop everything and design its interior. Cocktails with Jean Dujardin. Then off in our own little Gulfstream to Paris for dinner at L’Ambroisie (closed to the public in order to accommodate us). A moonlight cruise alone on the Hurricane Run. Then back to our suite at the Majestic for Champagne, another romantic interlude, and sleep. Hope your day was nice, too.
