As some of you already know, my state (Oregon) just legalized marijuana. We have now joined the other 3 states that have legalized recreational marijuana, along with the 19 states were marijuana is partly or mostly decriminalized. I think its clear that at this point the tide has turned on this issue. And as the dire warnings of police and politicians fail to materialize (as has been the case), and tax money and jobs materialize instead, more states will quickly join team chronic. This is one of those things that is only going one direction, and everyone knows it. So I guess its not surprising that the money men are now moving in. A private equity fund called Privateer Holdings has joined with Bob Marleys estate to create a new line of heirloom Jamaican cannabis products. The company will be based in New York, and will grow and sell in all legal areas starting next year. They have already begun the marketing push (see the video below).
