As some of you know I have one of the best bosses a person could ask for at BNSF. I have worked for him for nearly 2 years and every step of the way he has poured into me over and over again--ever challenging me to think through my personal development as a BNSF employee and leader. He is very intentional with a clear goal in mind. How different my experience at BNSF would be without bosses like him? Then it occurred to me how much richer life would be for us believers if we had someone that invested in our spiritual life as my boss is doing in my career! So to all of you great spiritual leaders out there--are you being intentional and do you have a clear goal for us? And to all of us out there looking for spiritual mentorship--are we identifying those who we can trust to be wise and lead us? Are we open to their investment?
