As some of you know, Lynne Flaherty and I led a group on a dive trip to the Philippines, Atlantis Dive Resorts & Liveaboards in Dumaguete. One of the underwater critters for which the area is known is the Banded Sea Krait a venomous snake which is not aggressive to divers.. I dont like snakes but I was encouraged to photograph/video them! As this was taken with a wide angle lens, I really have no idea how close it got to me. It appeared to be in the neighborhood of 4 feet long.
