As some of you know my step father became suddenly ill back in July. My mom rushed him to the ER thinking he was having a stroke. The doctors quickly ruled out a stroke but could never give us any answers as to what was ultimately wrong. Today, my mom finally received an answer. Jerry has a malignant astrocytoma - he has brain cancer. The tumor has infiltrated most of his brain and is inoperable. They are going to begin a round of chemotherapy and radiation in hopes of shrinking the tumor to help him regain enough strength for her to be able to bring him home. Today I created a GoFundMe page to try and help offset the medical bills that have started coming in and wont be stopping anytime soon. Its my hope that the 4H and dog community that my mom (Sally Alford Manning) and Jerry have given so much time and love to will lift them up and support them through this difficult time. gofundme/f6vw2k
