As some of you know this last Tuesday I had pretty intensive surgery that has had me flat on my back for most of the past four days...my wins have been getting up from bed to move to the couch or other important areas need not discussed. Today I woke up with a mission not only to go outside but to push myself to the limit sort of self physical therapy...my goal is to walk a mile for all those Herbalife runners in the Leadville 100 run today, it may be a literal fraction of my future goal of running this race but TODAY this mile is my own race, my own victory, my own win, my own trophy. This walk will test every bit of strength in me but I am determined, thanks to every single one of you doing your challenges, to give it my all! Here we go!
