As some of you may know because of my monastic past, and also because of my Christ-o-centric books, I am a Christian. I am not a fundamentalist, but I do not denounce those who are, unless being fundamentalist do not help that Christian be a more loving person (like Christ). My Christian life is one of faith and reason, thus I also subscribe to the theory of evolution, yet this subscription is also in the framework of a Divine Plan. A mindset like this was supported by a Catholic (like me) priest, Father Lemaître, who in 1922 first suggested the possibility of a big bang when he theorized on the Cosmic Egg. So I really enjoyed this video by Bill Nye, explaining evolution using Emojis. It is a thoughtful, rational, and loving way to teach.
