As some of you may know, our sweet granddaughter has been struggling this year from a rare condition, Mid Aorta Syndrome. At 18 months she endured a stroke, the loss of a kidney and the revascularization of her main artery, the aorta. Since that time, she has struggled to keep her BP under control and has been put on many medications. Earlier this week, as a result of a check up, they found her remaining kidney was in danger. She was flown to Michigan for proper care and is in PICU as we speak. She has an unrelated upper respiratory infection, and is on a ventilator. Because of this illness, she has been unable to undergo the necessary diagnostic tests to determine the course of action to save her kidney. After a failed attempt to use LASIK to jump start the kidney, she is now going through dialysis. She is not quite 2, and is very special to those that know her. We believe int he power of prayer and ask that everyone add her to the prayer lists and include her in your daily prayers to God. Thank you for all of the strength you provide to her and the family. She is in the right hands.
