As some of you might remember, I rescued a pregnant dog from the streets of Cairo about two years ago. Kelba had four puppies, which four friends of mine in the US graciously adopted. I had to put the mom somewhere though, as I wasnt allowed to keep her in my apartment, and couldnt get her adopted. So I brought her to Touch of Life Organization, one of Egypts few animal rescue shelters. But with the situation being what it is in Egypt at the moment, this organization has practically gone bankrupt. They are in desperate need of donations in order to provide food and medical care for the animals, many of which have suffered abuse. If you can find it in your heart and budget to donate to this amazing organization, please do. All proceeds will go directly to the organization for the benefit of the animals. Help them help the most vulnerable and neglected members of Egyptian society.
