As someone turns little (j)esus, Id like to remind his worshippers that we may be on earth for a purpose. As we carry out our daily chores, our heads must be level enough to recognise whats right and whats not. We make statements that seem funny or serious, but we seem not to realise the implication of our actions. Short or long term, life has a way of encircling us. What we do and say today may end up hunting us. Many may jest and make jokes about things and eventually shove them off. But when they begin to reap reparations of their deeds, theyd not know what caused the predicaments. When their children become vagabonds and idiots, they blame an imaginary enemy. Running helter skelter, hospitals to Churches, looking for one marrabout or the other... Making comparison is ok, but deifying a mortal is plain stupid! I would bet my 50 cents that even the principal would be embarrassed!
